Aussie is Dan Bruce
He loves his surfing, red wine, good conversation and barbequing meat with his mates. Most of all he loves his cricket! Growing up in 70s and 80s Sydney Dan became fascinated by the game of cricket and was fortunate enough to be able watch some of the greats at the famous SCG and MCG. Nowadays Dan likes nothing more than having a swim or a surf in the morning, then settling down for a solid day of cricket viewing (and a few cold beers!) with his mates and mum (she’s a cricket fan too!). Dan is like most Aussies – he thinks that he will watch his team win the Ashes in Australia.
Pom is James Kay
James (or Jim to his mates) is a man who loves words (writing them, reading them and discussing them), good friends and good competition. Whether it’s a good game of football, poker, petanque, or even Monopoly (yes, Monopoly!), Jim will keep on fighting until the end. He usually wins. Jim loves watching England play any sport, especially cricket. Jim is very confident that England will retain the Ashes and is hoping for an excellent series.
